Intro...

Hello! My name is Vanessa Treus and I am a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDT-C) on the Child Study Team in the North Bergen School District. I began teaching Special Education in North Bergen in September of 2008 to June 2014. In September of 2014, I began working on the Child Study Team. I am looking forward to working together as a team so we can motivate, encourage, and make this school year a positive and wonderful learning experience! My goal is to serve as a liaison to educational resources available to your child and you.

Education...

I achieved my Bachelors in Special Education in 2006 and hold a standard Teacher of the Handicapped (K-12) certificate from New Jersey City University. I later achieved my Masters in Learning Disabilities with LDT-C certification in 2013 from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I hold a standard Supervisor certificate that I achieved at St. Peter's University in 2016. Lastly, I also hold a certificate of eligibility for Principal that I have achieved through the NJExcel program in 2020.
