Background Information:
I have been teaching for over 30 years now. I am married for over 29 years. We have two sons. Both our children have been educated through public schools from Kindergarten through College.
I was born and raised in the area.
I have been at NBHS since 1991. Before that, I was a teacher at Hillside HS in New Jersey and prior to that I taught in South Central Los Angeles for several years.
Teaching Style:
I believe that each student has a special talent. I look to hone their skills so that they learn and succeed. But I also believe that my students need to come in with an open mind and be ready to participate and ask questions,
Communication is key with me. I encourage all my students and parents/guardians to communicate with me.
Student Council:
I have been the Student Council Advisor for the past several years.The Student Council is in charge of the Student Store which is located on the second floor across from the Media Center.
This is an opportunity for the students to be involved in a leadership position. We are involved in many activities where the students learn leadership and responsibility.
