Welcome!  I am looking forward to an excellent 2023-2024 school year at NBHS.  I hope everyone had a relaxing and safe summer.  I absolutely love mathematics and am hopeful my passion for the subject trickles down to my classes.  I am a firm believer in education and will do everything in my power to ensure I maximize all of my students' potential not just in the mathematics classroom, but in all subjects and aspects of life. 

 

While I much rather instruct my students in person, I have become a more well-rounded teacher due to the recent transition to virtual learning.  Online resources such as Google Classroom, Google Meet, Whiteboard.fi, My.Hrw.com, KhanAcademy, Explain Everything and various math educational outlets have been used on a daily basis to help reach the diverse learning needs of each student.  Feel free to contact me at [email protected]

About Me:

The 2023-2024 school year will be my 14th year teaching Mathematics at North Bergen High School.  I am the Head Coach for the Boys Volleyball team.  I attended New Jersey City University as an undergraduate from 2005-2009 receiving a B.A. in Mathematics Education and returned back to NJCU as a graduate student where I earned my Master's Degree in Mathematics in 2013.  I have also taught in the OSP Summer Program at NJCU over the past 5 years.  I am the proud father to a beautiful baby girl Laila and a baby boy Adrian.
