Extra-Help On Wednesdays Period 4  and any day after school in the Media Center

I have been teaching in the North Bergen School System for over 20 years and greatly value the experience of teaching, as well as learning from, non-Native English speakers from such a variety of cultural backgrounds. My goal every day is to facilitate my students' transition  to regular-ed classes and help prepare them for rewarding careers after graduation.

While there may be  another transition period this year, I am very much looking forward to meeting, teaching, and  motivating my students in person.

I would ask that parents and students work together with me  first and foremost to ensure a safe learning environment.
All students should begin the school day with masks and have a spare easily accessible. I will have hand sanitizer and
cleaning supplies available; however, it would be prudent for each student to have their own as well. Of course, students
are expected to adhere to any dress code, ID, and building rules as they are announced by the administration.

It's expected that each student will have been assigned his or her own Chromebook, which should be brought to class
every period with sufficient charge. I also would like students to always  have a paper notebook (spiral or composition)
and a pen or pencil for specific assignments or for when the internet is not working properly, and a pocket folder, if possible.
Again, I will have extras to help students who may  have difficulty finding such items before the start of school.
Any additional supply requests will be announced once the course has begun.
