Special Services

Welcome to my web page. I am a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant and case manager at North Bergen High School. I started working for the district in 2012. Some of my duties include administering educational diagnostic evaluations, developing Individualized Education Programs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, parents, and teachers. I consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and other special service providers regarding strategies and supports to improve students learning, behavior and success based on their individual needs and assist my students transition to college and a career.

I attended Ramapo College where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and William Paterson University, where I earned the degree of Master of Education. I hold teaching certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and also as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant. I earned my Supervisor certification from Rutgers University.

I previously taught in a variety of school settings for 7 years and have worked as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant since 2002 at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Parents are welcome to contact me via phone or email listed on this webpage.
