Marcia Marques

My name is Marcia Marques. I have been a Bilingual Psychologist on the  North Bergen Board of Education Child Study Team since 2004.

 

I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the Universidade Federal do Espirito Santo, Brazil, a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Master Degree in School Psychology from New Jersey City University. I worked for a few years with addiction, mental illness and foster care prior to obtaining a position in a school district.

 

I am pleased to say that I have worked in North Bergen's Elementary and High School. I am currently back to North Bergen High School. Finding each child's pattern for success has been one of my goals. Good rapport with students and communication with parents has helped me to prevent problems, nurture students strengths and find objective solutions for an array of issues.

 

I'm looking forward to work with you this 2019-2020 School Year.
