Welcome to Remedial Reading and Writing

 

For the majority of class, your child will be working on Edgenuity´s MyPath.  This is a computer based program that personalizes instruction for your child.  There are direct instruction videos and practice opportunities for students and reports for me that allow me to identify topics your child is struggling with.  This allows me to work with them and guide them toward mastery.

 

Students will be writing for a variety of purposes such as argumentative essays, informative essays, literary essays as well as narratives.  Students will be reading literature as well as informational texts.

 

Please check Parent Portal on a weekly basis to keep up to date with your child´s grades and attendance.
