The Hudson County Improvement Authority presented the first ever Sustainability Award to art teacher Steven Defendini for years of using recycled materials while being environmentally friendly at this years 6th annual North Bergen Health & Green Family Festival. Tom Stampe nominated and presented the award on behalf of the HCIA which is meant to “honor several individuals and companies in Hudson County who have made a substantial impact in “Our Hudson Home.”
