North Bergen High School Math Department Partners with the Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) Program

Learning computer science empowers young people to compete in the global economy and pursue careers in STEM because it teaches students computational thinking and problem solving skills applicable in any industry. The North Bergen High School Math department has partnered with Microsoft the Philanthropies TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) Program.  Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year, the program will continue to grow and enrich the Math Department's computer science program by bringing outside experience into the classroom for experiential learning. Dr. Fahima Bacha, Computer Science Teacher at North Bergen High School, represents the high school in the Microsoft TEALS Program.
