Phase 1 procedure - PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS INFORMATION

    • If you have a completed physical, bring it with you. 
  • All athletes, coaches and staff must wear masks.
  • Social distancing will be required at all times. This includes during the check in process, while waiting for the work out to begin, during the work out and at the dismissal of the workout.
  • All workouts will be held on the practice field behind NBHS.
  • Everyone MUST enter from the gym doors (76th St. and Kennedy Blvd)
  • Everyone (athlete and coaches) will line up (social distancing) outside the gym entrance.
  • Athletes will be checked in ensuring that they completed the online athletic registration, have a valid physical and that they completed the Covid questionnaire. Failure to complete the 3 previous items, you will not be admitted to the workout. 
  • The athletes then will be required to complete a daily Covid questionnaire and have their temperature checked. 
  • If an athlete has a temperature of 100.4 or higher, they will be sent home.
  • Next the athletes will walk to the back of the HS to get set up for the workout.
  • While waiting for the workout to begin, coaches will be assigning athletes into pods (groups). Once you are assigned to a pod, you must remain in that pod for the duration of Phase 1 (2 weeks). You will not be able to change your pod once it is assigned. 
  • After the workout, athletes will exit from the field. You will not be allowed in the school. 
  • Athletes are encouraged to bring a water bottle.
  • The athletes, coaches and athletic staff are the only people permitted at the workout. 
  • Some athletes listed 2 different sports when they completed the online registration. During Phase 1 you must pick one sport and remain with that sport. You are not permitted to switch sports once you are put into a pod.
  • Athletes are encouraged to use the bathroom before arriving at the HS.
  • Hand sanitizer will be accessible.

We must make sure of the following:

  • Everyone wears a mask. When the conditioning starts, athletes will be able to remove the mask.
  • Everyone will be socially distancing the entire time. This includes lining up for check in, to waiting on the back field for the workout to begin and until the entire team leaves the field.
