Arleen Inclan Aguilar and Roberto Perez win at the RWJ Barnabas/Hudson County Science Showcase

Arleen Inclan Aguilar and Roberto Perez brought home RWJ Barnabas/Hudson County Science Showcase silver medals and a second special medal for Arleen from the American Psychological Association. The two seniors in Advanced Research Honors and STEM Academy proved they could be matched up against super- sized teams and come out with awards in research.

Arleen’s study was "The Comparison Between TikTok and Body Image Concerns Among Teenage Girls During The COVID-19 Pandemic".
 
Roberto's study was "A Critical Comparative Analysis of The Hispanic Population Concerning Cognizance of Systemic 'Lupus Erythematosus."
 
Both students are in the top ten of the Class of 2021 and both are part of STEM Cohort III. Dr. Keshishian proudly stated that “These medals were due to the student's hard work and dedication to their studies, as well as the herculean effort put in by Dr. Welz and Mrs. Stern-Protz.”
