North Bergen High School Seniors Bring Home 8 Awards from the Jersey City Medical Center / RWJBarnabas Health STEM Showcase!

This year, North Bergen High School won 8 awards from the annual Jersey City Medical Center/RWJBarnabas Health STEM Showcase. As every year, this is an extremely competitive showcase. 
 
The students learned how to conduct research and analyze data in the rigorous Independent Scientific Research Honors course taught by Dr. Krista Welz and Mrs. Stephanie Stern, under the direction of Dr. Jared Keshishian
 
Melanie Soto, Senior of NBHS, earned her spot as a Gold Medalist.
Melanie was also awarded the Jersey City Medical Center/RWJBarnabas Health President’s Award (NJCU Presidential Scholarship Awardees)
 
Petra Nassereddin and Zoubair Belfki (Team Project), Seniors of NBHS, earned their spots as Bronze Medalists.
 
Gabriel Rodriguez and Jennifer Salguero (Team Project), Seniors of NBHS, earned their spots as Bronze Medalists.

Daniela Altamirano, Senior of NBHS, earned her spot as a Bronze Medalist.
 
Bryan Gramajo, Senior of NBHS, earned his spot as a Bronze Medalist.
 
Ariel Cepeda, Senior of NBHS, earned her spot as a Bronze Medalist.
Ariel was also awarded the American Psychological Association award.
