The NBHS Environmental Club celebrated Earth Day with a campus clean-up, gardening, greenhouse maintenance, chalk drawing, classroom recycling, Captain Planet walking around for the day, and wearing our "Earth Day" special shirts to celebrate our appreciation for our environment not just for Earth Day, but EVERY DAY!
Home Depot of NB graciously donated $115 to spruce up our school garden! They are the ones initially who made the school garden with us in front of the high school by the Board of Ed, and we always appreciate the continued support!
Shout out to our head of maintenance, Mr. Billy Picinich and our two night-time security guards, Mayla Dominguez and Bobby Nelson, for covering our chalk creation with a big tarp in the evening to make sure the rain didn't wash it away. <3
Also, we'd like to showcase the most beautiful upcycled couture gown created by Ms. Sapoff and her Fashion students, and Mr. Defindini displayed in the Art Show.
