Students Lead Successful Stuffed Animal Drive for North Bergen CARES

Ninth-grade student leaders of the NBHS Environmental Club, Andrea Ramirez and Mia Rodriguez, collected seven bins of upcycled stuffed animals for the S.A.F.E (Stuffed Animals For Emergencies) Drive. They cleaned, sorted through, and grouped them into different age categories to then be donated to the North Bergen CARES Program run by Aimee Focaraccio. They will be given to children as a source of comfort who experience life changing events.  We hope to run the drive again in the future to help support the community while also helping to reduce our carbon footprint.
