On January 22nd, the Social Studies Department's Mr. Nieves and the Future Lawyers Club participated in the County Government Day presented by Freeholder Anthony Vainieri. This was great opportunity for our students. Our students learned first hand the importance of local/county government, how to think on their feet and most importantly had the chance to get a taste of being an active participant in the community. These values create strong civic minded students and this was a learning experience they will carry with them into the future.
Great job by Mr. Nieves and to the students that participated.
Special thanks to Freeholder Vainieri for the experience!
