A warm welcome to everyone!
My name is Desiree Ugarte, but my students call me "Ms. D". This will be my 10th year working in the North Bergen School District. I am a Special Education Teacher in the English Language Arts department at North Bergen High School. I am excited to begin this new school year and look forward to working with all of my students. Each year brings new opportunities for learning, growth, and success, and I can’t wait to see the progress students make academically, socially, and personally. Together, we will create a positive and supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

Classroom Expectations:

- Be on time! Make sure to have your uniform and ID on at all times.
- Be prepared with a charged Chromebook, notebook, pen or pencil, and any reading materials.
