Welcome! My name is Johanna Ponton, I am looking forward to an exciting school year at North Bergen High School. I am a strong believer that ESL teachers play an important role in bridging the language and cultural gap for English language learners. As a former ESL student, I understand the challenges and frustration ESL students and their families go through. My main goal is to provide the best learning environment for my students. To help my students feel comfortable to make mistakes, take up challenges, and grow as learners. For extra help please reach out to me to make arrangements.

¡Bienvenido! Mi nombre es Johanna Ponton, estoy anticipando que sea un año escolar emocionante en North Bergen High School. Creo firmemente que los maestros de ESL tienen un papel muy importante en la reducción del espacio lingüístico y cultural de los estudiantes de inglés. Como ex estudiante de ESL, comprendo los obstáculos y la frustración que atraviesan los estudiantes de ESL y sus familias. Mi principal objetivo es proporcionar el mejor entorno de aprendizaje para mis alumnos. Ayudar a mis alumnos a sentirse cómodos al cometer errores, asumir desafíos y crecer como aprendices.
