Vision Statement

The NBHS Mathematics Department provides a sound curriculum that is aligned with NJSLS. The math department provides a range of courses that support the effective learning of mathematics. The goal of these courses is to equip all of our students with conceptual understanding, computational and problem-solving skills as well as quantitative reasoning and analysis to prepare students for post-secondary education and careers.

We aim to promote a supportive environment that fosters creativity, inquiry, active learning; equity, and inclusion.

Mission Statement

The mission of the NBHS Math Department is to create and sustain an environment that empowers students to learn and apply mathematics to solve various problems and to allow them to achieve their potential as learners and as productive, contributing members of the community.
