Retail and Advertising Strategies is an introductory course designed to provide the foundation for the marketing, retailing and advertising education program. Areas to be covered will include: marketing, retailing, advertising, display, sales, marketing math, employment and career opportunities.
 
The students are on Chapter 6 of the textbook - Customer Driven Marketing Strategies. The students will learn about the many different types of market segmentation, target marketing, positioning and differentiation. The students will also learn about how to create a value proposition, and the 3 steps of differentiation. The students will also learn about the Unique Selling Proposition and Competitive Advantage.
